Some smaller jobs carried out over the the last couple of weeks. Two separate post and rail jobs one using creosote replacing like for like on some paddocks and down one side of the driveway with a creo kick board on. The other using UC4 timber around the boundary of a garden. And then a job using clipex and two strands of barbed to fence off a section of woodland to prevent cattle form being able to get access to in and around a large badger set. All materials for these Jobs were supplied by McVeigh Parker

480m of otter fencing at this small syndicate fishing pool. They have been struggling with otters the last couple of seasons so it was a pleasure to help them out with this project. There were also three gates installed for access with oak sleeper plinth that was wired up with the skirting as well. McVeigh Parker supplied pretty much all of the materials apart from the Tornado otter fencing that was supplied by StowAg đź‘Ś Tornado Wire UK & Ireland

Recently we fenced this tree and hedge planting at Haws Hill it is a riparian buffer - expanding out the existing native broadleaved woodland into the field to intercept and infiltrate surface water as it runs down the hill, slowing the flow of water into the brook, this is to help reduce flood risk in Tenbury as part of a wider natural flood management scheme,

The fencing consists XFence equine netting along all of the new hedges planted and some extra lengths of fencing to divide fields and on the boundary’s all so.

XFence stock netting 8/80/22 on the bottom side of the new hedge plantations with more stock netting following the brook line.

This is to allow for time restricted grazing for early spring and late summer for sheep to keep the growth of grasses and other plants down as not to smother the newly planted trees to much.
