🌞 Wednesday is upon us again… Happy Hump Day! 😁

Another busy week is underway at Severn Fibreglass Ltd, and we’ve had to split into two teams for the remainder of this week to keep up with the workload at the unit while also working through our roofing jobs!

👷‍♂️ Alex and Steve are out on site, whilst Ben is holding the fort at the unit.

🏡 One thing that’s becoming a real theme with the orders coming in at the moment is that people are clearly thinking about the fronts of their houses! Our shop floor is gradually being taken over by Kempsey and Apley overdoor canopies in all sorts of sizes!

Meanwhile, there’s plenty more going on behind the scenes…

🐟 The timber for two ponds currently in production has been cut and is ready to go.

🚪 We’re finishing an order for one of our regular door and window companies.

🏠 We’ve also had orders come in for two of our Worcester door surrounds, two bog filters and a large bespoke canopy complete with columns!

As always, there’s plenty to keep us busy, and the team are working hard to keep everything moving in the right direction. 💪

Let’s crack on with the rest of the week and see just how much we can get done!

🙌 Teamwork makes it happen!

A little behind the scenes at Severn Fibreglass 👀✨

It’s Friday, so we’ll skip the usual “it’s been a busy week” update and get straight to what we’ve been up to! 😁

There’s plenty going on around here, with a roofing project nearing completion, a Gloucester door surround heading out for delivery today and a Worcester ready to be collected on Monday.

We’ve also sent out an order for one of our doors and window customers, along with two Bourbon dart surrounds for an interior designer and a 1200 Kempsey over door canopy was out the door on Wednesday!

And there’s plenty more in the pipeline, with two ponds coming into production:
🩶 A Victoria in Anthracite Grey
🤍 An Instant Pond in Light Ivory, with black interior and capping

We’re also getting started on a Tewkesbury with Type C pilasters in Oyster White, as well as a named planter.

It’s definitely go, go, go here at Severn Fibreglass, but then again, the boss would keep us busy even if there wasn’t a thing to do! 😂

We wouldn’t have it any other way! 💪

✨ Another beautiful transformation by Severn Fibreglass! ✨

We recently had the pleasure of fitting this stunning Tewkesbury Door Surround, and we think the end result looks fantastic! 😍

A big well done to Alex & Steve, who headed out to install this one, after it was manufactured by our team at the unit. 👏

We also fitted this beautiful Worcester Door Surround a little while ago, showcasing another of our designs. 🏡

Our Tewkesbury and Worcester Door Surrounds are both available to purchase through our website and eBay store.

Looking for something a little different? We also offer bespoke sizes to suit your home.

🏠 Introducing our NEW Ribbesford Overdoor Canopy! 🎉

We’re excited to introduce the latest addition to the Severn Fibreglass range — the Ribbesford Overdoor Canopy.

Available in sizes from 1200mm up to 2700mm, the Ribbesford is a smart, practical and stylish way to add a finishing touch to your entrance while providing protection from the elements.

📸 A quick note about the photos:
The fitted images are currently AI-generated to show how the canopy could look once installed, as we don’t have one fitted yet. We’re hoping to have a real-life installation photographed within the next week, and we’ll update the images as soon as we do.

The other photos show the actual finished Ribbesford canopy, so you can see the product itself.

🛒 Available from tomorrow!
The Ribbesford will be available to order through our website and eBay store:

In the meantime, if you have any questions about sizes, fitting or the product itself, feel free to get in touch:

🌦️ Happy Thursday from Severn Fibreglass! 🌦️

What a week weather-wise! 🤦‍♀️ We’ve had rain (of course!), cold mornings and chilly nights… followed by 20-odd degrees in the afternoon! Honestly, I’ve no idea what I’m supposed to wear anymore! 😂

A little behind-the-scenes update for you this week 👀 — we’ve had one foot on the roofs and the other in the unit, thanks to the ever-changing weather… and a certain naughty van causing us a bit of trouble! 🚐🙄

The theme of the orders seems to be door surrounds and canopies at the moment, with a couple of planters and some Bourdon Dart surrounds mixed in for good measure.

And finally… the pond is being delivered this weekend! 🎉 Just in time for us to start building another one — but this time it’s going to be a bespoke Victoria in Anthracite Grey ❤️

Steve is now safely back from his holidays, and Alex’s tan seems to have faded from his face, so I think that officially means summer is behind us… 😭

Which brings me to the important question…

🎄 Does this mean I can start thinking about Christmas yet?! 😂🎅

Hope you’re all having a lovely Thursday — and as always, thanks for following along with what we get up to behind the scenes! ❤️

The Instant pond, The Victoria, The Courtyard and a couple of our bog filters fitted and one matured. Happy customers all round.

Another week done here at Severn Fibreglass — and it’s been a bit of a disjointed one! 😂

Some days Steve and Alex have been out on site, sometimes Ben has joined them, other days they’ve all been back in the unit… and today it’s Steve’s turn to have swanned off on holiday for a nice long weekend! 😎🌞 He’ll be back with us on Tuesday.

So that leaves me with Ben and Alex out on site today and the unit all to myself… ahhhhhhh! 😂 The silence really is golden! 🤫

Despite everyone being in different places, we’ve still managed to make plenty of progress this week. Our current roofing project has moved along nicely whenever the weather has allowed, and we’ve also had a few things heading out the door:

🔹 The White Halo and 3-bay bog filter have both been sent out
🔹 Our doors & windows customer bay canopy is wrapped up and ready to go
🔹 The cube planter is nearly ready to leave us
🔹 The Bourbon dart surround is due out on Tuesday
🔹 A Tewkesbury door top is ready for trimming
🔹 The Kempsey over-door canopy is ready to be fixed together and is then awaiting its legs
🔹 Another planter and door surround are heading into production next week

We’ve also completed the Courtyard Pond, which is now out on the market, and we’ve got three new canopies coming up for release over the next couple of weeks. 👀

So, as always… busy busy busy, but productive! 💪

Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to enjoy these last few hours of peace and quiet before everyone comes back… 😂
