Hi folks. Well what a month I’m having. I’m weeks behind due to problems with chair frames and repairs, and to add insult to injury, and my boat has broken its moorings, which meant a late night visit to the harbour. But despite all this I’m up and running.
I’ve done a few jobs over the last few weeks, headboards, chairs and numerous other bits of furnishings, and a few lined up ready for transformations. If you’re waiting on fabric, drop me a message and let me know how you’re getting on.

Over the last few days I’ve been getting back to using my traditional techniques. This beautiful 19th Century Bergere chair has come in for a little tlc. The original springing had completely collapsed. After a re-web and respringing, I’ve added new coconut coir fibre and stitched a new hessian cover ready for some new soft padding before the new fabric goes on. Next week it will be ready for its trip home 😃
