PLASTERING AT HEIGHT? NO PROBLEM. 🪣

Stairwells can be a bit of a pain when it comes to plastering. Ladders get in the way, internal scaffolding takes up half the space and sometimes you just need a slightly different solution.

Fortunately, Matt has one.

Strapped in, standing tall and ready to get cracking. 😂

Move over Michael J. Fox… there’s a new Marty McFly in town.

Now, where did we park the DeLorean? ⚡️

WHO NEEDS A LOFT LOADER ANYWAY?

When you’ve got a loft extension to build and a mountain of materials that need shifting upstairs, sometimes there’s only one solution.

Good old-fashioned grunt work.

Lift. Carry. Climb. Repeat. And repeat. And repeat…

Would a loft loader have made life considerably easier? Absolutely.

Could we get one in with all the cables in the way? Absolutely not.

So manpower it was.

Who needs the gym when you work for Purkiss Builders?

Nobody skipped arm day on this job.

PS Seriously, how long do you think it took us? Answers below please.

BIG BATHROOM. SMALL BATHROOM. WE’RE NOT FUSSED. 🛁

Whether it’s a full-on bathroom transformation, a compact en-suite or simply making better use of the space you’ve already got, the Purkiss Builders team can take care of the lot.

Plumbing, tiling, flooring, cabinetry, showers, fittings and all those finishing touches that turn a bathroom into something a bit special.

This recent installation is a cracking example - dark tiles, brushed brass, fluted glass and plenty of attention to detail.

Got a bathroom project in mind?

Big or small, give Matt and the team a shout and let’s get it sorted.

September. Matt’s favourite month. And for once, the weather appears to have got the memo.

We’re back over at Wayne’s loft extension job on an unusually sunny morning and there’s plenty happening — cladding going on, insulation going in, plasterboard going up and everything starting to look a lot more like the finished article.

Then there’s the balcony.

We reckon once that’s done, Matt’s going to spend more time admiring the view than actually working.

Here he is with a quick progress report…

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAIL. 👌

Renovating and improving existing homes is a big part of what we do - and that means giving just as much attention to the original features and finer details as we do to the bigger jobs.

Here, it’s all about getting the paintwork around this characterful bay window looking sharp, with the crisp black and white finish really bringing everything together.

Because good building work isn’t just about transforming a property. It’s about doing every part of the job properly.

That’s the Purkiss way. 🔨
