This system is giving our customer a much smarter way to use their energy.

Instead of relying on expensive peak-rate electricity to power the house, the battery can be charged using their EV tariff at the cheaper off-peak rate and then discharged throughout the day when electricity prices are higher. 💷

With an existing solar system already in place, we’ve added battery storage so they can charge the battery when electricity is cheaper and use that stored energy during the expensive peak-rate periods. 🔋💷

☀️ Making the most of every inch of roof space! 🔋

This one started out as a 16-panel install using Longi 480W HVB panels. Luckily, on the day, we spotted an opportunity to squeeze in an extra row of landscape panels at the top! 👀

We spoke to the customer, who decided to make the most of the additional space. We returned a little later to install the extra row, giving them even more generation potential and adding a second battery to make sure they could store as much of that energy as possible! ⚡

🏠⚡ I think we’ve started a competition between the neighbours…!

After completing a recent install, we were approached by the customer’s neighbour who wanted to create a mirror image — plus whatever else we could squeeze onto the roof! 😎

After making a few adjustments to suit their roof, we managed to fit an impressive 31 × Aiko 510W panels ☀️

🔋 THOUGHT YOU COULDN’T EXPAND YOUR OLDER FOX ESS BATTERY? THINK AGAIN! ⚡️

Did you know that older EP battery models are still compatible with the newer generations?

In this case, we added a Fox ESS EP12 alongside the customer’s original EP11, giving them additional storage capacity and allowing them to expand their system — something they originally thought wasn’t possible! 🙌

Another great example of making the most of an existing system rather than starting again from scratch.

This customer’s goal was simple — get the highest possible peak wattage from their available roof space. So, we looked at a range of panel options and designed the system around the best combination.

⬇️ 6 × Aiko 540W 3S+ panels
⚡ 10kW Sigenergy Controller
🔋 2 × SigenStor 10 — 18.08kWh total storage

The result? A seriously powerful system making the most of every available panel position. 💪☀️🔋

And yes… we did have a couple of damaged tiles to deal with! 😅 We made the roof fully watertight before returning with exact replacement matches to finish the job properly. 🏠🔧
