This weeks transformation ✨
Utility & downstairs loo.
The prep on this one 🥵 old cottages need lots of tlc and I really put my heart & soul into this one and got it over the line in 5 days.

A lot of work goes on behind the scenes and my customers really appreciate the work that I put in to get the best finish I can. 👌🏻

✨ A little update from me… ✨

Well, there’s no hiding the bump anymore! 😂🤰🏻

As most of you know, I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and somehow still managing to squeeze myself into my decorating whites every day! 😂

I’m fully booked until November and I’m absolutely planning to carry on with all of the lovely jobs I have booked in. I just wanted to give my upcoming customers a little heads-up that, as my bump gets bigger, I may need to work slightly differently on some jobs.

I’ll still be doing everything I can to complete your decorating work to the same standard I always do, but I’ll be sensible when it comes to things like large ladders, stairs, moving furniture and heavier lifting.

Where I need an extra pair of hands, I’ll have help with the heavier jobs and anything that isn’t sensible for me to be doing on my own. I may also take a little longer on some tasks and make sure I’m taking regular breaks when I need them.

I’m definitely not hanging up my paintbrush just yet! 😂🎨

I’m so grateful to everyone who has booked me, especially those who have been so understanding and supportive throughout this pregnancy. 💚

I’m really looking forward to getting through my fully booked diary and transforming all of your homes before I take a little break later in the year.

Before & Afters of last weeks lounge transformation 👌🏻💚

Always enjoy a green shade as you know. This lounge & dining area was long overdue this transformation. After being damp proofed and plastered in areas that needed it, all new skirting and architrave and a new floor. The painting was the cherry on top.

Now it’s a serene space that feels light and fresh and in touch with the natural world. Very fitting for the clients 🌳

Ceiling - sage green (little Greene)
Woodwork - chine green (farrow & ball)
Walls - timeless (dulux)
All mixed by Johnstones and each match was spot on as usual 👌🏻👌🏻

So I am expecting. Baby no2 🫶🏻
I plan to continue to work until the end of November to complete jobs already booked in.
Being pregnant means I will have to slow down and be careful when on site and working at height. I have taken on some help to keep things ticking over nicely.

Thanks to all my customers this year for keeping me busy, I appreciate every single one of you.
I am taking bookings now for when I start back at work (hopefully July 2027) after a few months off with the newborn.

I do love this paint. Its opacity is incredible and you could get away with one coat (I always do 2 ) but coverage is mega.

Had a cracking time on this stairway 😅
After many fills of many cracks , I got well underway with giving this staircase a much needed lift. Swipe to see the before photos.

The customer has chosen a really cool carpet to compliment the colour so look forward to seeing that too.

My dear friend asked me to help him with his HSL transformation last week. I only had 7 days free so he helped me out sanding and priming & painting doors/skirtings to get the job completed within the week. He was a great help 🫶🏻

It was a huge transformation, with 6 colours & wallpaper & new dado rail.

We absolutely smashed it and made this space so beautiful and inviting.
All shades by farrow & ball mixed into a cleanable matt by Johnstone's Trade Paints. I must say the colour matches were on point in every colour.
Cleanable Matt is a great drop to work with and was almost perfect in one coat 🤘🏻

Can’t wait to see the new carpet installed to bring the scheme together
