And finally, the first fix stage of this full house renovation is coming to and end.
We didn’t plan on doing as much to this house but the more we took it apart the more we realised that the best thing to do was to rip it all out and start again.
A full damp course coupled with a 2.4 meter high tanking on the ground floor to prevent rising damp.
Full chimney stack removal to create more space in not only the living room but also the master bedroom.
Partial roof tile replacement,
Dry ridge kit fitted.
Loft insulation,
New Upvc rear door,
Full new electrical first fix rewiring.
First fix oil to gas conversion and associated plumbing.
Cavity wall insulation,
Sound proofing.
Structual load supporting walling,
All aproved by building control and now ready for plastering.
