We Are Hiring! – Qualified Pest Control Technician

Termapest Pest Control & Fumigation is seeking an experienced and motivated, Qualified Pest Control Technician to join our close-knit team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine service inspections, reactive call-outs, treatment programs and proofing applications for the control and prevention of rodents, birds and insects throughout Northern Ireland and across the UK.

In addition to strong technical ability, candidates should be commercially aware and have a proven track record of identifying and developing sales opportunities within the pest management sector. This may include treatment programs, pest-proofing solutions and applications, routine service contracts and additional job work.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to a recognised Level 2 standard in pest management
• Experienced within the pest control industry
• Goal-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Commercially aware and confident identifying sales opportunities
• Professional, reliable and committed to delivering a high-quality service
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
• Comfortable working at height and within confined spaces
• Practically minded and competent in the safe use of hand and power tools for pest-proofing applications
• A resourceful problem-solver who can think creatively and develop practical, effective solutions to challenging pest-management issues
• Detail-focused, with strong reporting and communication skills
• In possession of a full UK driving licence and willing to travel

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, company vehicle and continued training and development.

Another successful bird control installation completed in Holywood.

Pigeons had been nesting on the beams within this car park, creating ongoing hygiene and maintenance concerns. To resolve the issue, we installed a high-quality bird netting system to prevent further access and nesting.

In addition, the affected area was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using PX Parvo, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

The final phase of the project will be completed on Wednesday, when the remaining three light zips are installed.

Starling net installation

✨ Starling Net Replacement in Antrim ✨

Our team recently installed a brand-new starling net under a canopy in Antrim, replacing an old system that had been in place for around 20 years. Over time, the original net had begun to detach from the beam clips, and the fixings had corroded due to salt exposure and weather conditions.

To ensure a long-lasting solution, we removed all old materials and installed high-quality stainless steel Hilti fixings and support wires, carefully following the building’s profile. Once the secure framework was in place, we fitted a 20m x 20m starling net, designed to prevent birds from nesting under the canopy and causing damage.
