Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Roofing Department

At Contract Services, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions in the construction sector. Our roofing department is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for roofing projects, ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Measurement & Valuation: Conduct measurements and valuations of work completed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Tendering: Assist in the preparation and analysis of tenders, negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Project Liaison: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on project costs and progress, identifying any potential issues early on.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory standards, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Professional membership of RICS (or working towards it) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within roofing or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel).
