✨Finished just in time for Christmas 🎄
This two-storey extension has transformed our client’s home, providing a much larger kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, along with two new bedrooms on the first floor.
The original tiled roof was replaced with a new slate roof across the entire property, alongside new PVC fascia, soffits, and guttering.
A Velux window was installed in the sloped roof to maximise natural light within the kitchen and dining space.
To improve comfort and energy efficiency, the whole property was insulated using full-fill pumped bead insulation, with insulated plasterboard fitted to all internal walls of the new extension, ensuring warmth during the colder months.
Works also included a new sewer line, complete with multiple inspection chambers and gully traps, as well as Aqua channels to effectively divert surface water away from the property.
All building works — from groundwork to roof level — were carried out by MCKEE Brickwork and SMK Builders, fully compliant with NHBC regulations, and successfully passed every Building Control inspection.
