Sooooo!!!

I was charged £5.00 a take away cup of coffee today, near died but I do their gas so….

That’s a 400% increase from before the madness and sellout of the nation

For context

If I was to take this price hike into consideration that would bringing my 2026 standard appointment slot to £300 instead of £60 which we use to charge..

Needless to say prices are going up to meet the ridiculous prices being set by our weak and fractured government

Full time service engineer starting on the 7th of September and the price for us just to attend your property is now £80 for a 1st year boiler service & £100 for anything outside of that

5 & 10 year major strip down services will be considerably more due to parts and extra labour

Prices will move with inflation troops

Food for thought

If your chemicals per year can be as much as £45.20 what is it you think people are doing for that £80 which seems to be the charge for doing F all

Company policy is now to work to standard, not customer valve

Try’s to self fix itself 10 times before entering limp mode but still able to work even with a fault 💁🏻‍♂️

Concrete/ mortar on copper pipes will
Cause a chemical reaction resulting in an open ended gas leak

Job sent back to previous engineer to address as is at risk and a notice issued

The passing of the buck needs to stop and accountability to ensure peoples safety needs to start

Edition 4 and tightness testing is a good start Gas Safe Register but cp12 work should come with a warning notice as standard as leaving the boiler in an unserviced state will only lead to call outs and a new appliance needed

Rads are made of metal and they’re full of water ….

Heating system needs chemicals in order to suck the oxygen out the the water so it can’t rust

£80 get us to your door, how much the bill is after that is dependent on how much you’ve spent looking after the system but more importantly the standard of work being carried by the Engineer

Average price at the minute between £120 & £250 for 1st time appointment slots

Should be done every 12 months for warranty or law for landlords

Should be carried out annually as voids house insurance which no one seems to talk about

Flue resealed as never sealed from the installation

Red gasket and electrodes replaced

Boiler setup as per
The Manufacturers instructions and saving the customer a new boiler in the process
