Happy Friday! I can't believe its here already.

Here's two veggie planters about to go to their new home for a great couple excited to try out their green fingers.

Pew 35 will be living outside so it’s vital to hit everything, including the joints with what ever weather proofing you use.

I’m using Yacht Varnish with 7 coats (sanded between each coat) for ultra protection and a finish to die for.

Don’t be afraid to get in touch for tips or advice, I love to help and spread the knowledge so you can also have fun tackling your own projects.

Most carpenters have pouches full of screws and nails, not this one!

I have to keep a pouch of bribes for my head of quality control or he gets the right hump and downs tools.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how careful you are and how much effort you put in to the correct preparation you'll end up with a reaction to stain or varnish.

It's 125 year old timber that was damaged and then painted over so these things can happen more often than you think, it's why they normally end up repainted lol.

Like everything in life there's no shortcuts or life hacks if you want quality, so the only option is to sand back the reaction in the varnish while being careful not to damage the stain or lumber underneath and clean up the area.

The plan is to make the finish look so deep you can dive into it so cross fingers and here we go again...

Good morning all, hope you're having a great Bank Holiday in this beautiful weather.

You don’t have to worry about the Fluffy Butt Mutt in this heat, he’s got his own AC unit.

The chiller for the laser kicks out some very cool air, and although he may act it sometimes Barney’s not stupid…
