Roslin Guerrilla Gardeners

03/10/2026

Yesterday the team visited R&B Nurseries in Roslin. Lots of fun exploring, and we have chosen lots of lovely new plants for the village.

Huge thanks to the helpful R&B staff for supporting the Guerrilla Gardeners! 👏👏👏

A good morning's work yesterday and we were lucky with the weather!
We did some weeding, planted daffodil bulbs and bedding plants in the new border at Pentland View Crescent. We also planted iris in the wh**ky barrel planters by the MUGA.

If any one is able to help out and water some of the plants (especially the planters) on Main Street, the Medical Practice, Roslin Primary and Roslin Park we'd be really grateful

Summer flowers and herbs at the Medical Practice doing well 😍

Sad news. Someone has ripped out the flowers and many of the beautiful iris and alliums in the Main Street garden.

What is wrong with people?

Congratulations to Badger, our faithful (and slightly naughty!) mascot for his award!

Thank you Midlothian Community Action.
