Another bathroom tiling job completed last week using a mid grey 600mm x 300mm porcelain tile on both the walls and floor, complimented with a mid grey grout as well as using black mat tile trim framing the window and the under lit niche completing that stylish modern contemporary look with the set out of the tiles thoughtfully placed to add that professional touch we do with all of our tiling jobs.

We also water proofed the bath enclosure with a tanking kit and used cement board to strengthen the floor all prior to tiling to provide our clients with peace of mind with no issues of leaks or movement in the floor for many years.

Good prep work to any job is key and non is more relevant when tiling a Victorian path in mosaics. The screed base laid prior to us tiling was good but not good enough for the mosaics we had to lay where we need a perfectly flat surface. We achieved this by fitting 6mm boards which provided the flat surface we needed.

Today we laid the main path. We will return to fit the borders once we have cut the tiles to a straight line with a grinder with the tiles fixed in situ to achieve a continuous straight line either side. We also have the step to complete.

We’ve been incredibly busy lately, so apologies for the lack of posts!

Here’s a recently completed shower room in Kensington, tiled in stunning 1500mm x 750mm White Carrara porcelain tiles to both the walls and floor. Alll external edges mitred and resin filled as well to achieve that seamless look. The job also included a fully tiled shower tray with an upstand, creating a seamless, high-end finish.

The large-format tiles and timeless Carrara design combine to give this shower room a clean, elegant and sophisticated appearance, resulting in a beautifully refined space we’re proud to have delivered.

We are really enjoying the job we are currently on in a second floor flat in Kensington fitting large format beasts 1500mm x 750mm White Calacatta marble porcelain tiles.

The floor is all fitted as well as the raised tiled shower tray where the upstand is mitred into it providing a seamless look.

Unfortunately we are short of tiles so will have to return when the remainder of the tiles arrive.

Love this floor with so much time, love and attention to detail taken with this job as with all our jobs 👌

900mm x 900mm light oak parquet style porcelain tiles with 1500mm x 250mm light oak porcelain planks cut into borders topped off with white marble with grey marble inserts acting as 2 feature areas on the ground floor. Grouted in jasmine epoxy grout to compliment the replicated joints on the larger tiles and white epoxy grout on the white marble feature areas.

A small job completed recently tiling a fire place in brick slips and pointing up the joints using yellow sand and white cement making this the perfect focal point and feature of the room 👌

A lot has been happening over the past few weeks, including the completion of this large ground-floor installation featuring an intricate, highly detailed layout.

The design incorporates bespoke border work created from 240mm x 1500mm light oak-effect planks, each carefully cut to size, alongside two feature inserts made up of white marble basket weave mosaics with 10mm square grey marble accents. Completing the space are the stunning 900mm x 900mm light oak-effect parquet tiles.

The floor was meticulously planned from the outset, allowing all of the large-format parquet tiles to remain full tiles — with no cuts required.

We still have the grouting to complete, which will be finished in a light cream epoxy grout to seamlessly replicate the joint lines within the parquet tiles themselves.

Recently completed tiling work for this refurbished bathroom, transforming a tired and dated space into a modern bathroom our clients can truly be proud of and enjoy.

The wall and floor tiles were carefully aligned so all grout joints run seamlessly throughout, creating a clean and cohesive finish. Installed using 600mm x 600mm white marble-effect tiles, complemented perfectly with a classic white grout for a timeless look.

Nice job to end the week with cladding an outside wall in slate slips and a great opportunity to top up the tan 😎
