The Wildlife Garden Transformation

Another fantastic transformation completed by the Perfect Gardens & Landscapes team.
This project involved completely redesigning an unused area of the garden while keeping the existing wildlife pond as the main feature.
We removed around 15 tonnes of soil, old sleepers and a poorly installed circular patio. The excavated soil was then relocated to the opposite side of the pond to reshape the surrounding landscape.
A large natural-style waterfall was created using York stone, adding movement to the water and transforming the overall appearance of the pond.
We installed new Indian sandstone pathways and patio areas with 100x100 setts and Flowpoint Yorkstone jointing. We also created a large rockery area using a mixture of York stone and buff stone to tie everything together.
Two aluminium louvred pergolas with pull-down sides were installed, including one over the new main patio and another over the existing decking, creating sheltered areas that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
A huge transformation that has turned an unused part of the garden into a completely new outdoor space while keeping the wildlife pond at the centre of the design.
What do you think of the finished garden?
