Today we safely completed the removal of a very mature dead Sycamore affected by sooty bark disease β a challenging and high-risk job in a conservation area with a Tree Preservation Order in place.
Sooty bark disease can be extremely dangerous, releasing harmful spores that pose serious health risks when disturbed, so full PPE and strict safety measures were essential throughout the work. With a chicken coop directly beneath the tree, extra care and precision were needed to safely dismantle the tree.
We handled the entire process with the council and completed the job safely and professionally.
Another difficult job completed by the Gildergreen Tree Surgery team π³πͺ
