Not every bathroom refurbishment goes the way you expect… 👀

What started as a straightforward strip out quickly became a much bigger job once we started opening things up. The walls had to be taken right back to brickwork after the existing bonding coat failed and came away from the walls during demolition.

That meant:
✔️ Extra labour
✔️ Extra prep work
✔️ Extra materials
✔️ More time to get it right

Hidden issues are part of renovation work sometimes — the important thing is dealing with them properly, not covering them up.

Really pleased with how this one turned out in the end 🔥

We knocked through two small rooms and created one bright, practical shower room — built properly from the ground up.
