Check out this montage for a truly amazing transformation!
Brava Groundwork once again, delivering this project on time for a private school & day nursery group at one of their premises in Central Bedfordshire.
Commissioned by senior management and guided by us, the client wanted to unlock what turned out to be a large, disused area of this nursery’s garden and provide a blank canvas, to begin furnishing a new forest school area for the children to enjoy. Clearing this space was a never ending task and the project was completed, start to finish, in just 5 days. We worked out of their operational hours, day and night, to ensure minimal disruption to the setting and to uphold the high safety standards required when introducing major works to any childcare setting.
BSEN-1177 certificated play grade bark was used to surface the general play space and SBG by Breedon Special Aggregates to form the pathway and hard standing under the triangular gazebo. A 300L IBC was installed to collect and store rainwater from the gazebo roof to water plants in the planter beds, in line with the client’s environmental policies and clear PVC downpipes make watching the rainwater flow into the IBC a fun and educational experience for young children.
We absolutely loved delivering this project for our client and can’t wait to hear the feedback that the kids love it too!
