🚚💨 The mixer has been putting in the miles lately!

One of our busiest rounds yet saw us deliver 5 different concrete mixes in just one trip.

That’s a great thing with volumetric concrete, different mixes, different jobs, all sorted without multiple trips!

And to top it off, we somehow managed to dodge the worst of the wet and stormy weather too! 🌧️

We’re looking for a couple of experienced groundworkers to join our team due to an increasing workload.

The work is long term, and we’re after people who can work on their own initiative, read drawings, and carry out basic setting out. A 360 excavator and dumper ticket would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.

You must be self employed and have your own transport to site

Behind Every Great Mix….

Today, Gary is back carrying out the calibration on our volumetric mixer, making sure every mix is produced accurately and to specification.

It’s one of those jobs that happens behind the scenes but makes a huge difference, helping to keep every load consistent and ensuring the concrete is mixed accurately on site, exactly when it’s needed.

It’s been all go here lately for the team at Ley Plant Lowestoft 🚜

One minute we’re working in blazing sunshine, the next we’re running for cover from the rain! Typical British weather 😂🌦️

With a spell of dry weather finally on the forecast, we’re gearing up for a busy run up to the Bank Holiday weekend — and it actually looks like we might get some sunshine for it 😊

✅ Starter bars drilled and resin fixed
✅ Oversite stripped off
✅ Foundations poured
✅ Soakaway installed
