This is the Vcharged 7 Pro untethered — the socket-only version. You plug your own Type 2 cable in when you charge, unplug it when you're done, and the unit sits clean on the wall in between.

There's a practical argument for untethered that most people miss. If you already own a portable Type 2 cable — which you do if you've ever used a public destination charger — then you've already got the cable. Buying a tethered charger means paying for a second one that lives permanently on the wall. The untethered version uses the cable you already carry in the boot.

There's also the two-car household scenario. Different EVs sometimes need different cable lengths or even different connectors as the market evolves. One universal socket, swap cables as needed. Future-proof without overthinking it.

Brian ordered on Saturday and was expecting a Monday install. Our engineer found a gap on Sunday morning, turned up, and had the charger on the wall in about an hour. Job done a full day ahead of schedule.

But the detail that really stands out? The compliance certificate — the document that proves your install is safe and meets wiring regulations — was emailed to Brian while the engineer was still at his property. Not three days later, not after a follow-up chase. Right there, on the spot.

Nobody wants a charger install that looks like an afterthought ⚡

Hypervolt unit mounted on the side wall, SWA cable routed through black conduit straight down — no detours, no messy clips, nothing draped across the render. The conduit keeps everything weather-sealed and protected, and from the drive you'd barely know it was there.

Rendered walls need a bit more thought than brick. The fixings have to be right, the drill points sealed, and the mounting position chosen so the weight sits properly without stressing the surface. Get that wrong and you're looking at cracks and water ingress within a year.

This one's been thought through from board to charger. Quiet, tidy, and doing its job every night while the owner sleeps.

There’s a difference between finding space for an EV charger and finding the right place for one.

Where does the car normally sit?

Will it still be convenient after using it hundreds of times?
