We could have waited until the garage was tidy for the photo. We didn’t. Because this is what every garage in Britain actually looks like and pretending otherwise helps nobody. 🏌️⚡
Callaway golf bag leaning against the shelving. Stepladder. Cardboard boxes. A football. Crisps — yes, there are crisps on the shelf. And a Hypervolt charger on the wall with its green LED on, cable running out through the garage door to an MG sitting on the block paving.
This is a garage that’s being used as a garage. Not a converted home office. Not a gym. Not a photography studio. A place where stuff lives, a car parks outside, and now a charger does its job without needing its own dedicated wall.
Inside-garage installs are underrated. The charger is out of the weather. Out of sight from the street. Protected from accidental knocks. And when you’re not charging, the door rolls down and nobody knows it’s there. The cable just runs out under the door when needed — no permanent fixture on the front of the house.
The customer clearly has their priorities right too. Golf clubs in the garage. EV on the drive. Fuel savings funding the green fees. That’s a lifestyle strategy we can get behind.
