Another milestone reached at Cromerton - we’re officially up to first floor level.

The floor joists and first-floor decking are now in, protected and ready for the next stage of the build. The scaffolders have also completed the second lift, giving the bricklayers access to continue taking the walls up towards roof level.

Downstairs, the rooms are now fully formed - and for the first time, you can properly walk through the layout and get a sense of the two homes taking shape.

Next stop: roof level. 👀

Our new build project is really taking shape in Beaconsfield.
Swipe through to see how we’ve got here - internal strip out, demolition, foundations, block and beam floor down, and brickwork now up to first floor with the steelwork in.
More to come as the build progresses.

This week has all been about scaffold, brickwork and structural steels at our Cromerton project 🧱

The walls are continuing to rise as the structure of these two new build homes really starts to take shape.

With scaffolding now in place, structural steelwork and lintels are being installed as the brickwork progresses towards roof level.

Another busy week on site in Beaconsfield - and it’s becoming much easier to picture the finished homes.

🧱 The bricklayers are on site.

This week at our Cromerton project, the blockwork is complete, cavity insulation is in place and the facing brickwork has begun.

It’s the first stage where these new build homes really start to take shape.

A few weeks ago this nothing more than a cleared site - now the drainage is in, the brickwork is up to DPC and the block and beam floor is being installed.

It’s a stage most people never see but one of the most important on any new build. Every level has to be right before the build can continue
