The company name was taken from a type of open fire invented by one of the origi
nal owners of the business, which was known as the Barless fire and was produced somewhere in and around the town of Batley. Originally dealing in all aspects of solid fuel fires and appliances, the business expanded into supplying gas appliances as the market developed, and, today can supply almost any type of gas appliance. We have two large, well stocked showrooms with approx 80 solid fuel and gas stoves on display should customers wish to view a selection of appliances and receive product information prior to making a purchase. For customers outside our immediate area, unable to visit the showroom, we have included as many photos and as much product information as possible within the pages of this web site. We try to carry a large selection of stoves in stock to limit the delay between order and delivery, however, with such a wide selection of appliances now available, some units inevitably need to be ordered, in which case we will try to provide realistic delivery timescales. We deal with all the major manufacturers, both British and continental and whilst many are shown on the web site, there are some manufacturers that will not allow us to advertise their products on the internet, so, if the stove you want is not there, why not telephone the number shown to see if we can supply.
