A mad month of movement, Growth & recognition for my hard work and persistence 💫

We reached the 10k followers, And currently sitting at 12k 🎉

I broke my first 1 MILLION views on a reel 🎬

Teddy Swims himself acknowledged my portrait of his album cover TWICE ⭐

Calum Best Followed me & liked my painting of his legendary father ⚽️

I’m a finalist in my category at the first Golden Finish Awards 🏆 🎨

I got invited to a content day at my local paint shop johnstones_trade 🎥

I had such a laugh & met some great new friends 🤝

They gifted me with a big goody bag & shop vouchers for my time 🩵

One of my biggest inspirations and the best mural artist in the world followed me & wants to help me grow! 🌎 🚀

Thank you to those with the lovely kind comments, And also to the ones who said it looks nothing like him and more like Ice Cube 😳🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll be honest they can get to you abit when you are out here trying your very best, Even though it’s probably best to just ignore the negatives..

BUT not all the time, Constructive criticism and seeing your own work through other people’s eyes can only push me to do better!

I’m only human and still very early into my painting career. Around 5 years!

My work isn’t perfect and it probably never will be, This is my take on what I’m seeing, Lines, Shapes and colours 👁️

I can hold my hands up and say his hairline isn’t bang on, He does recede abit in real life, His beard is probably too dark, He is more blonde. And the shading on his face is probably too dark..

Sorry Teddy! 😅🫡

Im still learning & growing into it all!

Still trying to get things better, Adapting to different styles with different outcomes!

But the two people that matter most, Is Teddy who actually commented on the reel (I asked the universe for him to, And guess what he did 💫)

And my lovely customer Andrea who is thrilled to bits with it ❤️

We move & we groove, We earn & we learn, We go & we grow 🕺
