Dry hip installation in Blantyre 🏠📍

Previously this roof had cement mortar pointing up the hips which failed , this is often just a quick fix and doesn’t work in Scotland due to our weather , Cement can crack and break down over time due to temperature and bad weather as seen in the before pictures

A dry hip system mechanically fixes the hip tiles in place so you’re not relying on cement to hold on during extreme weather , at JSB Roofing we always offer the dry hip system , do it once and not come back every winter to repoint it with mortar , once it’s mechanically fixed and done correct you won’t have to bother with it again
