🌿 Garden Transformation Complete – Blagdon Park, Bath 📍

We had the pleasure of transforming this garden for Filippa Bellaccomo and her family, creating a smart, practical outdoor space that’s easier to maintain and enjoy. 🙌

🪨 The works included grey Indian sandstone paving and stepping stones, golden gravel, artificial grass, new fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards, and a new step outside the patio doors to bring everything together.

A special mention to Jamie Pither for building the bespoke timber gate on site, made to fit the space and complete the new fencing perfectly. 👏

🚧 From the initial clearance and excavation through to the groundwork and finishing touches, this was a complete refresh of the front, side and rear garden areas.

We’re really pleased with the finished result—a tidy, welcoming outdoor space for the family to enjoy! ✅

🚨 Emergency Stonework Repair – Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire 📍

Another traditional stonework repair successfully completed by our team, following an insurance-related incident which resulted in damage to the stonework surrounding this property’s doorway. 🏡

🚧 Due to the damage and concerns over the structural stability of the surrounding wall, we attended the property as quickly as possible to assess the situation, make the area safe and install temporary supports where required before carefully carrying out the necessary repairs.

🪨 The damaged and unstable stonework was carefully dismantled and rebuilt, using traditional stone masonry techniques and carefully selected stone to blend the repaired section back into the existing building, retaining its original character and appearance.

✅ With the works completed efficiently and the affected stonework reinstated, we were able to leave the property safe and secure, giving our client that all-important peace of mind.

We’re really pleased with how this repair turned out, particularly how well the new stonework blends into the original building. 🙌

Concrete Pad – Englishcombe, Bath 🤳

A smaller job completed in Englishcombe, Bath, preparing and pouring a reinforced concrete base ready for a new garden office.

The area was excavated and prepared, hardcore compacted, shuttering installed and reinforcement put in place before the concrete was poured, levelled and finished ready for the next stage. 🚧

On this project, the client was taking on the garden office itself as a self-build, so we were brought in to get the groundwork and concrete base completed properly and ready for them to build from.

We can also take care of the full garden office build from start to finish if required. ✅

Rubble Stone Wall Rebuild – University of Bath 🚧

Another traditional stonework project completed for University of Bath at the Sulis Club, working alongside Fowden Building Services Ltd and Tom fowden building 🤝

The works involved carefully taking down and rebuilding a substantial section of rubble stone walling, reusing the existing stone throughout ♻️

Each stone was cleaned off, sorted and reused, with close attention paid to the coursing and joints so the rebuilt section blended naturally back into the existing wall while retaining its original character👌

🌿 Another Garden Transformation Complete in Bath 📍

We had the pleasure of transforming this garden for Katy Morrison - Architect and her family, creating a completely refreshed outdoor space that works beautifully with the character of the property. 🙌

🚧 With no direct access to the garden, the entire project had to be hand dug, with all waste and materials moved through the house. Approximately 30 tonnes in total was shifted in and out over the course of the project, making this a hugely labour-intensive job from start to finish. 💪

🪨 The transformation included natural stone paving, new pathways and steps, Bath ashlar stone work to the steps, new flower beds and pond surrounds, fossil green copings and edging, a new lawn and tree planting to completely reshape and finish the garden.🪴

♻️ Where possible, existing materials were carefully retained and reused, helping the finished garden tie back into the property and retain that traditional Bath character.

The end result is a garden that feels completely transformed while still looking completely at home with the property. ✅

We’re really pleased with how this one turned out and, even better, the customers are still loving it! 🙌

🪏 Garden Transformation Complete - Larkhall, Bath 📍

What started as a tired, uneven garden has now been transformed into a practical and attractive outdoor space for our customer to enjoy for years to come. 😎

🚧 This project involved a full garden excavation by hand, with approximately 7 tonnes of spoil removed, before constructing new rendered retaining walls to create four separate levels throughout the garden. 💪

🪨 We then installed Grey Indian Sandstone paving across all four platforms, complete with ACO drainage channels to the two lower levels to ensure the area performs as well as it looks. With multiple levels and some particularly challenging cuts throughout the project, attention to detail was key in achieving the clean finish you see today. 👀

To complete the transformation, the walls were finished in white masonry paint and a brand-new gate was installed, tying everything together and providing a clean, modern finish to the space. 👌

The end result is a garden that not only looks fantastic but is now far more functional, usable and easier to maintain. ✅

We’re delighted with how this one turned out and, more importantly, so is the customer. 🙌

🏠 Small Job, Big Impact 🫡

This project may have only taken us a day to complete, but it’s made a huge difference for the homeowner.👌

The existing decking steps had deteriorated and failed, making access through the front entrance difficult and unsafe 🚫 We removed the old structure, cleared everything back, and replaced it with a solid, long-lasting solution that ties in perfectly with the existing property.

The new steps were built using Bath Ashlar stone to complement the original building and finished with Bradstone Derbyshire Brown Blend paving slabs, creating a durable and attractive entrance that will last for years to come.

A simple project, but one that completely transforms the look, practicality and safety of the property. 👍

This customer wanted a simple, practical driveway that would keep costs down without spending money on unnecessary extras. As requested, we retained the existing concrete pathway and installed a brand new tarmac driveway around it, giving them a clean, durable finish that will last for years. 👌

🧱External Maintenance Works – Park Street, Bath⚒️

Another quality job completed in the heart of Bath working alongside 👷

This one involved carrying out full external maintenance to keep the building looking sharp while preserving its original character 👌

🧱 6 chimneys hacked out and re-pointed where required using carefully colour-matched lime mortar to blend in seamlessly with the existing
🏠 Roof repairs carried out to ensure everything is watertight
⚒️ Ashlar stone repairs to both the front and rear of the building, restoring damaged areas while keeping that traditional look

All works completed with attention to detail to make sure everything ties in with the existing structure — no patchy finishes, just done properly ✔️
