This is definitely a project we are sad to see the end of.. although both us and the customer absolutely love how it’s turned out! If you are interested in something similar, we would love to take on more projects like this. Here we completed the job ready for boarding, as required by the customer but we are also happy to take the project right the way through to completion.

While at the oak flooring job we were asked if we could bring this Tudor fire place back to its former glory. We started off by removing some of the brickwork that had been added at some point, then cleaned it off before contracting in our friends at Morris Developments. They repointed the old bricks and laid a herringbone floor with reclaimed bricks with traditional lime putty.

Finally we got a plasterer in to complete the look, with a lime render to the back whilst maintaining what looks like an old Tudor bread oven that we discovered while removing the internal bricks. The customers were over the moon with the results! 🤩
