As part of an ongoing project we have installed these gabion baskets as a small retaining wall to form a pathway boundary. We decided on the use of these to minimise waste material which was on site and could all be re used to face and infill the baskets. Gabion baskets are a good solution for a retaining wall as they are cost effective allow water to run through and ideal for wildlife.

Fencing on our current project Started off by removing the old hedge which was intruding in to both properties and installed the new 1.8M high featheredge fencing all down the garden then we dropped it to around 1.2M high for the last section to the back of our new retaining wall and neighbours garage. This fencing now offers a clean boundary on this section of the garden along with added privacy.

This garden renovation is now complete, featuring two new paving areas and a natural lawn.

The bottom area boasts Ebony wood style porcelain paving with an Anthracite border that seamlessly integrates with the garden room, transforming an awkward space into a cozy seating area.

Raised beds were constructed along the fence line and top paved area, each at different heights to create visual interest. Blockwork was used to build these beds, which were then cladded in London daze porcelain wall tile and finished with Anthracite coping. To enhance the ambiance, warm white LED strip lights were installed under the copings, casting a warm glow down the walls. also added three bronze uplights to the bed, which will highlight the new shrubs as they grow.

The main patio area is covered in Rustique porcelain tile, perfectly complementing the wall cladding as it wraps around the side of the property to the front. Additionally, an Anthracite pergola was installed, offering the flexibility of an open or closed roof, making it a usable space regardless of the weather.

New gravel driveway installed with a cobbled edge to stop the gravel migrating into the lawn area. We also used a lot of natural materials which were on site to edge the bottom of the hedge line. On the main entrance way we also used the gravel grid system as it will take more traffic and it was on a gentle incline. Then finished off in a dorset shingle which is full of soft tones and fits in lovely with the property character. .j.championandsons.ltd

Nice little project we completed this week with some new fencing to both sides of the garden to replace the old broken panels with new standard 6ft lap panels on 100mm timber post.
Then a nice new composite deck area in a antique colour outside of the existing garden cabin. This was constructed on 150mm joists and 100mm posts concreted in.
We defined the lawn edge and planting bed with some lovely oak sleepers and re turfed the area for a lovely new green lawn.

Nice little fencing job completed today consisting of taking down and disposal of old red brick wall then installation of 6ft featheredge panels on slotted concrete posts with a concrete gravel boards all supplied by and a new featheredge gate to make the garden nice and secure.

We supplied and installed this Egyptian Limestone paving to wrap around this new extension in Bath.

We also bullnosed the paving around the perimeter and steps for a more aesthetically pleasing look.

Little project we completed last year to make a little seating area with a nature pond. We built a new retaining wall and faced it with existing blocks to recycle what materials were already in the garden and to minimise waste going to landfill ♻️ we built a new pond from timber sleepers and lined with a heavy duty liner. We finished off the surface course with a 14mm compacted hoggin.
