✨ Belvedere repairs complete in Bath ✨

We’re pleased to share that extensive repair work is now complete to the belvedere of this tower, set above a Grade II* listed Italianate villa in Bath.

The building is a prominent landmark in the wider Conservation Character Area and the repairs were necessary to avoid stone falling onto the house below. Working alongside a skilled team of local craftspeople, our heritage specialists helped define the scope of the repair work and secure the necessary permissions to ensure the building’s long-term conservation.

The repairs have put right extensive damage to the stonework and roofing, ensuring it remains a proud part of the panorama for years to come.

⭐ A minimum of 5 years’ post-chartership experience (either public or private sector)
⭐ A Chartered Member of the RTPI
⭐ The ability to work under pressure
⭐ Good verbal and written communication skills
⭐ Good experience in residential/mixed-use development schemes

As part of the team, you’ll be advising our planning clients on projects from a range of sectors and guiding development at all stages. You’ll also be working closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to secure planning permission for client projects.

From gaining unanimous consent for a major scheme in Exeter to securing permission for the retrofitting of an individual home in Bath… our team’s recent portfolio reflects the range and scale of the residential work we undertake in the region. Whether they're unpicking the complex constraints of a single site or preparing an overarching place-led strategy, the team’s insight and approach is officially award winning!

Our Associate Planner Alexandra Egge collected the trophy on behalf of our planning team... we can’t think of a better way to round off a very busy week!

This weekend’s a big one for three members of our design and planning teams, who’ll be donning their running gear to take part in the prestigious Bath Half Marathon…

After many hours of training, colleagues Jonathan, Guy and Huw will be tackling the 13.1m course on Sunday, when they’ll join thousands of runners on the route through the UK’s only World Heritage City. They’re feeling race-ready and are excited to take on the fast, flat course; they’re also looking forward to a great atmosphere along the way!
