🔥 When was your boiler last serviced?

An annual boiler service might be easy to put off, but it can make a big difference, helping to keep your home safe, spot potential problems early and make sure your boiler is running as efficiently as possible.

It can also help maintain your manufacturer’s guarantee and potentially save you from more costly repairs further down the line.

We’ve put together 5 key reasons why regular boiler servicing is so important in our latest blog

It’s been another busy week, with plenty of boiler installations and services keeping the team on their toes! 🔧

So, how could we possibly end the week without a bit of a laugh and jumping on this trend? 😂

Apparently, this is what some of the RJ Mitchell team would have looked like back in 1985… and we’re not sure we hate it! 😂

What do you think, do we rock the 80s?

A few holiday snaps from team RJ Mitchell ☀️

We’ve managed to enjoy a little bit of downtime over the summer, but now September’s here and there’s definitely a hint of autumn in the air 🍂

Which, whether we like it or not, means the heating will be going back on before too long!

If you’ve been thinking about replacing an old boiler, now’s a good time to get it sorted before the colder days arrive.

Give the team a shout if you’d like a chat about boiler installation, we’re always happy to help and have lots of options available for you to choose from.

Struggling with poor water pressure at home? 💧

This customer had terrible water pressure from the cold main, alongside gravity-fed shower pumps that were noisy and inefficient.

To upgrade the system, our team:
🔧 Removed the existing vented hot water cylinder
🔧 Removed the water tanks from the loft
🔧 Installed a Salamander TankBoost to improve the cold mains pressure
🔧 Fitted a Gledhill 250L unvented cylinder to improve hot water pressure and performance

The result?

Much better hot and cold water pressure and flow rates throughout the whole house, without relying on those noisy shower pumps. 🙌

If poor water pressure is causing problems in your home, get in touch to find out what options could work for your property, we’re always happy to help.

☀️ If this summer has taught us anything, it’s that home air conditioning is no longer a luxury for just a few weeks of the year.

We’ve installed more air conditioning systems this summer than we ever imagined, with more homeowners looking for a simple way to stay comfortable whatever the weather.

The good news?

You don’t have to pay for it all upfront. Through flexible instalment plans are available, making it easier to spread the cost of your new air conditioning system.

If you’ve been thinking about keeping your home cool this summer (and ready for next year too), we’d be happy to chat through the options.
