We build bespoke handmade alcove units, media units and wardrobes in and around the city of Bath.

Check out our website to see lots of photos of our work. We work with our clients to come up with the best design for the space. We have a great team of sub-contractors so often get asked to work in tricky spaces or where extra jobs need doing; like some plastering, electrics or plumbing. We know an excellent painter as well 🤩

Call Oli on 07813 068790 with some rough measurements and he can chat through your project and give you some ballpark costs over the phone.

If you’re a ‘get-things-done-out-of-hours’ kind of person, you can email Ruby [email protected] with photos and rough measurements and we’ll come back to you with some costs; usually within a day or two.

We have been building bespoke units onsite insitu for over 20 years so have heaps of experience. The way we build means we can make sure the interfaces with your room are elegant and minimal, unlike factory or workshop items.

Feel free to contact me or Oli to discuss your project.

Here’s a pair of alcove units built we made in a Victorian terraced house in Oldfield Park, Bath. The clients had added plant-on beading to the walls which was set off perfectly by the alcove units Oli built either side of the fireplace. The alcove units are painted in Nori by Paint and Paper Library and the walls in F&B’s Joa’s White.

Call Oli on 07813 068790 or WhatsApp Ruby on 07855 010960. Have some rough measurements to hand and we can give you some ballpark costs before we visit in person.

Hoorah for visiting a wardrobe Oli built last summer for a client in Widcombe, Bath. This twelve door wardrobe was positioned away from the wall to allow the doors to open in front of the radiator. Oli boarded over some stud work fixed between the wall and the wardrobe to give the whole structure extra strength. The board is painted the same colour as the wall and recedes nicely into the alcove.
Oli built a ‘frieze’ section between the top and bottom doors. What a pleasure to work in such a beautiful big room, with amazing views 🤩
Paint colours to follow soon!

What a rainy back-to-school day in our house! 💦
Here’s some pics of a wardrobe from the summer. Designed closely with the client who was keen to break up the wall of wardrobes with a section of feature shelving, built by our carpenter Daniel, and painted by Mark, these wardrobes mainly house metal-framed shoe racks, creating lots of storage for an impressive collection of shoes and boots. Built into a modern house in the Widcombe area of Bath.
The three central sections are built in front of the chimney breast with shallow shelving, and the two sections at either end are deeper.
The feature shelving section has light oak acoustic panel at the back, and oak veneered MDF shelves.

WhatsApp Ruby on 07855 010960 or call Oli on 07813 068790 to discuss your project.

We’ll have some photos coming soon of things we’ve made that aren’t wardrobes… promise!

Have a lovely rest of your day people 🩵

• W A R D R O B E • We dismantled an old ensuite bathroom to fit a large wardrobe into this bedroom. Oli worked around the window and pipes in the corner of the room to create a bespoke wardrobe that fits snugly into the space in this extended countryside cottage in Dyrham village.

Oli had a lot of fun recently building these birch faced plywood and Valchromat cupboards and wardrobe for a converted garage in Lansdown, Bath. He needed the design to work around the existing window, en-suite bathroom doorway, a consumer unit and the bed’s headboard, whilst also factoring some deeper storage for hanging clothes. Altogether quite a head scratcher!
We worked closely with the client and she is really happy her garage conversion is almost ready to stick on Airbnb. 👏
The Valchromat is ‘Khaki’ which comes up a bit darker when it’s varnished - as it is here.

Oli’s been hard at work on a bespoke fitted wardrobe this week which we can share soon - glad to not be working in the crazy heat anymore!

Happy Tuesday all!
We just revisited a house in the Widcombe area of Bath to photograph these wardrobes that Oli built in the winter. The clients are slowly putting the room together - aren’t slow renovations the best?! They chose the lovely Inchyra Blue for the walls with a complimentary fresh white for the wood work. Oli built a set of three drawers in each side, so both partners have useful storage space.
Call Oli on 07813 068790 to discuss your project or WhatsApp me on 07855 010960 😊
