A new door, with the character of the original. 💙

Our client loved the traditional character of her existing entrance, but wanted a new door that would offer better performance, improved durability and a longer life — without losing the details that made the original so special.

The result is a bespoke timber entrance door, carefully designed to retain the traditional proportions, stained-glass character and period detailing, while bringing the performance of a new, beautifully crafted door.

Finished in Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue, paired with Wimborne White framing, the splash of colour gives the entrance a fresh new identity while complementing the original architectural details.

This bespoke entrance door and matching sidelights were handcrafted, supplied and fitted, combining traditional detailing with modern performance and security.

Manufactured from premium Accoya timber, the entrance features 26.8mm double glazing with laminated outer panes of glass for enhanced security, alongside beautifully selected From The Anvil ironmongery, including a traditional Doctor’s Door Knocker and statement Beehive Centre Door K**b.

Finished in the timeless Breakfast Room Green, the detailed mouldings, polished fittings and natural timber threshold come together beautifully against the character of the original stonework.
