Last job finished before my holiday. Another traditional hand cut roof completed for Ian chappell for there job in Aldworth. This roof is going to be covered with Zinc. 7x2 rafters spanning nearly 7 metres, with 4 glulam beams thrown into the roof. That got my arm hurting birds mouthing those bad boys! Especially with a double birds mouth on every rafter for top plate and wall plate. 2 openings for the Velux windows above what will be the new kitchen. Flat roof section between the old cottage and new extension. A fully glazed section will be going in towards the front of the cottage and new extension to make a glass walk way. A lot of cutting and heavy lifting went into that roof🪚🔨📐
