🔨 Two projects completed by 6-6-S Home Improvements 🔨

It’s been a busy time for the team, completing two very different projects for our customers.

Project 1 – Fitted Wardrobes

We completed the installation of these bespoke fitted wardrobes, including internal drawer and shelving units, a combination of half and full-length hanging rails, and four stylish white shaker-style sliding doors.

A great way to maximise storage while keeping the room looking clean, modern and tidy.

Project 2 – Staircase & Hallway

On another project, we installed a new staircase complete with handrail and glass inlays.

We’ve fitted plenty of staircases and banisters over the years, but this was our first time incorporating glass into the design. We think the finished result looks fantastic! 👌

To complete the transformation, we also decorated the ground-floor hallway and woodwork, giving the whole area a fresh, finished look.

Two very different projects, but both completed with the same attention to detail and high standards we always aim for.

Yesterday we returned to another long-standing customer who has trusted us with multiple jobs over the years. It’s always a great feeling when customers come back to us time and time again — it’s something we really value.

This time, we gave the carpets throughout the property a thorough deep clean using our 5-step process, designed to achieve the best possible results:

🧹 1. Thorough vacuuming – removing loose dirt, dust and debris.

🫧 2. Pre-wash treatment – applied to help loosen ingrained dirt and tackle stains.

🧽 3. Hand scrubbing – we pay particular attention to high-traffic areas and the edges of the carpet where dirt can really build up.

💦 4. First machine pass – cleaning the carpet thoroughly in one direction.

🔄 5. Second machine pass – going over the carpet again in the opposite direction to ensure we get the best possible clean.

The results speak for themselves — the carpets were looking better than they have done in years! 🙌

It’s not just about cleaning a carpet; it’s about taking the time to do the job properly and getting the best results possible.

Another happy customer and another job we’re proud to put our name to. 👍

🏡 Another Kitchen Transformation Completed! 🔨

Today we completed the transformation of this kitchen, creating a much brighter, more practical and modern space.

The work included:

🔹 Removing the old kitchen
🔹 Adjusting the hot and cold water supplies and waste
🔹 Replacing the stopcock
🔹 Making minor adjustments to the electrical outlets
🔹 Plastering the ceiling
🔹 Installing inset LED spotlights
🔹 Adding under-unit lighting to brighten what was previously a rather dark space

One of the things we value most about our business is repeat customers and the trust they place in us.

This client has used 6-6-S Home Improvements for a number of jobs over the years, and when it came to transforming their kitchen, they wanted a company they already knew they could trust to take care of everything from start to finish.

Quality workmanship, attention to detail and a service you can trust. 👍

We have just completed the external decoration of this four-bedroom detached house.

Before we could start decorating, there was quite a bit of preparation work to carry out. We repaired the fascia and soffit, replaced the timbers on one of the gable ends and made sure everything was properly prepared before applying the coatings.

We applied two coats of Chestnut Barn paint to the cladding, fascias and soffits, giving the property a fresh, smart and long-lasting finish.

We also replaced the existing gutters with new deep-flow gutters, increasing the capacity to capture rainwater during periods of heavy rainfall. 🌧️

One of the things we particularly love about this project is that this customer is a repeat customer. Having used our services previously, they trusted us again to carry out another project on their home.

For us, that really means a lot. Repeat customers and recommendations are the biggest compliment we can receive.

🏡 Never underestimate the power of quality workmanship and a good recommendation! ⭐

Today we completed the exterior decoration of this large property in Basingstoke, and it’s always especially rewarding when a job comes through the recommendation of a previous client.

Over 6 years ago, we decorated the house directly opposite — and we’re delighted to say it’s still looking great today! 👌

When the neighbours were looking for someone to carry out their exterior decorating, our previous client had no hesitation in recommending 6-6-S Home Improvements and telling them about the work we had completed.

For us, this is one of the best compliments a business can receive. ❤️

We take pride in doing things properly, using quality materials and delivering a finish that stands the test of time. The fact that our work continues to generate recommendations years later speaks volumes.

Quality work. Lasting results. Happy customers. Personal recommendations.

Thank you to our previous client for putting their trust in us again by recommending our work. It really is appreciated.
