One question we get asked quite a lot — can my kitchen actually be painted?

In most cases, the answer is yes.

If your cabinets are still solid, the doors and drawers are in good condition and you’re happy with the existing layout, there’s often no reason to replace the whole kitchen just because you fancy a different look.

With the correct preparation and a professional hand-painted finish, we can completely change the colour and feel of your kitchen while keeping what you already have.

We can work with many different types of kitchens, including solid wood, veneer and MDF.

Every kitchen is different though, so if you’re unsure about yours, simply send us a few photos. We’ll take a look and let you know what’s possible.

If you could change the colour of your kitchen tomorrow, which one would you choose?

Choosing a new colour is probably one of the hardest parts of transforming a kitchen — there are so many options, and the right colour can completely change how the room feels.

Would you keep things light and timeless with Warm White, go for something softer like Sage Green or Greige, or make more of a statement with Deep Blue or Charcoal?

There’s a lot more to painting a kitchen than just putting on a new colour.

A good finish starts with the preparation, and that’s something we never rush.

Every kitchen we work on goes through a full process — from thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surfaces, through sanding and priming, before applying the final coats by hand.

It takes time, but doing each stage properly is what gives you a smooth, durable finish that’s made to last.

Once everything is finished, the kitchen is carefully put back together and you’re left with a completely different look without having to replace perfectly good cabinets.
