We've been a little quiet on social media... but certainly not at work! 🌳💪

Here's Bobby and Ryan working in one of our favourite communities, Oakley, Hampshire, taking down a Lawson cypress and cutting back a few overhanging ash limbs to give our client more light and space for their next project.

Make sure you watch until the end... 👀

Jacob, our firstborn, is the reason Axe & Son began. When he came along, Bobby wanted to build a business that gave him the flexibility to provide for his family while still being present for it.

Fast forward a few years, and the Axe Tribe is now five kids strong! Today, the whole crew came along to keep Bobby and Ryan fuelled with refreshments.

And at the end of the day… Jacob turns up, and Dad finally lets him have a go on the blower. Safe to say he absolutely loved it. 😄🍃

Five years on, still five-star strong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And a special mention today- happy anniversary to Ryan, marking five years TODAY since his first day working with us. A huge part of the journey since the early days of Axe & Son, and still going strong.

It's moments like these that remind us why we started it all.

Just a little personal share for our local community 💛
We’re thrilled to announce a new (and very small!) addition to the Axe & Son Ltd workforce - our fifth and final baby 👶🎉

It really doesn’t feel that long ago when we shared our very first post introducing Axe & Son Ltd, with just one little baby and a big ambition to build a trusted local tree surgery business. Five years later, not only has our client base grown 🌳, but so has the Axe family! All while continuing to grow and maintain a five-star reputation ⭐ right here in our local area.

The success of Axe & Son Ltd has always come down to doing things properly, careful planning, safe working practices, and treating every customer’s property with the same care and respect as our own 🏡. That commitment to quality and five-star service is what keeps our customers coming back year after year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the continued support 🙏.

Even in times when everyone is watching their spending 💷, keeping on top of tree and hedge maintenance now can help prevent costly problems later and keeps gardens looking their best as we head into spring 🌿🌸.

Rain or shine, the job gets done. 🌧️🌳
Bobby Axe, Director of Axe & Son Limited - soaked, smiling, and hard at work in all weather.

Bobby would also like to thank all clients for their continued support. He didn’t manage to message everyone this year to wish them a Merry Christmas or a Happy New Year - it’s been a lively household with four young children, the usual seasonal bugs doing the rounds, and with baby number five due in less than two weeks, the Axe family is busy growing another future boss for the family business.

🌲✨ Happy New Year from Axe & Son Ltd ✨🌲

As we welcome a brand new year 🎉, we want to say a huge thank you 🙏 to everyone who has supported Axe & Son Ltd along the way.

Founded in 2021 🪵, Axe & Son Ltd was built on more than just tree surgery - it was built on family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. The name “Axe & Son” represents our commitment to hard work 💪, integrity 🤝, and creating something lasting for the next generation 🌱.

Since starting the business, that meaning has grown even stronger. What began with the “Son” in our name has since been joined by four more children, with a fifth baby on the way 👶❤️. The business has grown alongside the family, reinforcing why Axe & Son Ltd exists - to provide, protect, and build a future rooted in strong values 🌳.

Every job we take on is driven by pride in our work 🪓 and gratitude for the trust our customers place in us 🏡. Tree surgery is tough, honest work, and we’re thankful every day to do what we love while supporting our family.

Here’s to another year of growth 📈 - stronger roots 🌿, higher standards ⭐, and a future built for the next generation 👶🌳.

From our family to yours, Happy New Year 🎆🥂
