Another refurbished kitchen worktop and island in Woking, Surrey.
They have never been renovated, and the owner has been oiling them over the last 20 years which turned them orange and shiny.
We completely stripped and refinished them and now they have a natural wood look with a satin finish.

Been working very closely with my good friend and fellow finisher over the past 6 months( and another 6 months to go ) on an amazing super prime high end project , which consists of a stain then a full flat finish with polyester base and a 60 % sheen off the gun .. with a tint hear and there to keep the colour as uniform as possible, on the highest grade walnut that money can buy !!!
I have to say it’s a complete honour not only to work on such a prestigious project but to do it with one of your best pals and his amazing team is just a dream !!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you what goes into creating a finish like this but all i can say is ... ‘if you know then you know ‘ !!! ... and the pain is real 😂
Big shout out to the wilenator .wiley.5 for his super duper lacquer and help !!!

How beautiful are these walnut kitchen worktops !!!? They have been neglected for years without the owner knowing that they could be restored to their former glory - The last kitchen top refurbishment of the year and what a way to go out with a bang !! Bring on 2020 with lots more worktop restorations / spray finishes / wooden floor restorations and lots more surprises I’m sure - Merry Xmas to you all !! 🎅🏼🙏🤩. restoration

Ok so the bad boys are standing tall on workshop duty waiting for final inspection before they enter their new home in January! I can’t tell you how much work we put into these doors and also how heavy they are being fire doors for a 5 star hotel in Knightsbridge - however as my Dad used to say ‘you only get out what you put in ‘! And we have seriously put into these ! 🤷‍♂️😉... 2nd batch awaits 👊
