A nice project for us to be involved in to start the week. As a ‘Harbour Schools Partnership’ recognised contractor, we have been in to supply a reliable water source for Pilton community college farm project.

Developed from what was previously a disused field into a working outdoor learning space. Students get hands-on experience with things such as:

* 🌱 Growing vegetables and other crops
* 🥕 Planting and harvesting produce
* 🐑 Caring for livestock
* 🧱 Building things such as raised beds, paths and dry-stone walls
* 🌿 Learning about nature, sustainability and the environment

A particularly important aim is to give young people a safe alternative learning environment outside the traditional classroom, helping develop confidence, resilience, practical skills and wellbeing.

A superb 42 metre borehole will aid in keeping this project alive for many years of incoming students. 👨‍🎓

💧 FEELING A LITTLE SMUG? 😏

With South West Water announcing a hosepipe ban in effect from today, we’re guessing there might be a few Cox Water Borehole Drilling customers feeling pretty smug right now! 😉

Why? Because if you have your own private borehole, you have your own independent water supply, separate from the mains.

So while restrictions are affecting mains water use, your borehole can keep supplying water for those everyday jobs that matter:

🌱 Watering the garden & plants
🚗 Washing the car
🐄 Keeping cattle supplied
🐴Keeping pets watered
💦 And much more

And with the dry weather putting increasing pressure on water supplies, there’s never been a better time to think about investing in your own private water borehole.

Talk to Cox Water Borehole Drilling today about what a borehole could do for your property, farm or business.

A busy February and March for us here at Cox Water Borehole Drilling.

With the weather only seeming to be wet wet and wet again for what seems like an eternity, we’ve consistently stayed busy by utilizing our tractor mounted rigs to keep up with our work demand.

This April see’s yet another increase from South West Water as the average household water and sewerage bill will rise by approximately 5.4%.

This increase further reiterates that there has never been a better time to invest in a private water supply, whether it’s for a farm, private dwelling, camp site, sports ground, or anything in between. Having your own water is the only solution to significantly reduce your water expenditure.

Give us a call today to discuss how a water borehole could benefit you.

Success for our Crew in south Devon. ⭐️

Our drilling team of Jake and Tom have just completed a weeks worth of drilling to successfully drill and line 3 water boreholes for a farm buildings development on the outskirts of chudleigh.

Having previously had a different drilling company in the area resulting in unsuccessful boreholes due to the difficulties in geology, our wealth of knowledge and experience in soleley drilling water wells for over 20 years really aided us in getting the results on this one.

A very happy client who can now move forward with the development as planned with their very own private water supply. ✅

A nice project for us to be involved in this week, as our team ironically set about providing a water source for a water tower that is to be converted into domestic accommodation.

The disused tower in Broadclyst, near Exeter, which stands at about 52ft (16m) high, is thought to have been built in the 1940s and served the village until 2008.

A 45 metre drill through sand and clay successfully gave the customer a water source for this exciting project. We look forward to seeing the final results of this conversion when it’s finished.
