🪵 Today I spent the day making some custom corner shelves for my mum's treatment room at JennyLou Beauty.

Made from solid European Oak supplied, as always, from Jamie at The Wood Room.

They will be used to display products once the oil protection has properly dried.

Hard wearing and perfect for enthusiastic cooks. This board is made from one solid piece of wood and would last a lifetime!

I've been so busy at my new job over the past couple of months!

I have decided to put my remaining items on sale!

If these items sell I may then make a small collection of items ready for sale for Christmas (time dependent).🌲

I'll share the current sale items over the next few days but here are the first two.

🪵 End Grain Cherry and Oak Cutting Board.
Super hard wearing due to the end grain design. A large and useful size with the additional benefits of the handles for easy moving!

Was £130 - now just £90!!

🪞 Oak Mirror.
A rustic style solid oak mirror (this is the small size - l will share details of the larger mirrors I have over the next few days).

Was £50 - now just £40!! (Two of this size available)

You may have noticed that this page has been quiet over the past few weeks. That's because I have started a new full time job!

I'm now working with a company which provides restoration and conservation services for old buildings, manor houses and churches.

This will mean that I have very little time to work on Ben There, Chopped That but hopefully this is not the end. I will still be doing bits and bobs now and then.

I want to say a huge thank you to Jamie at The Wood Room for allowing me to complete my work placement and carry on gaining more knowledge and experience after my college course ended.

Please keep following my page and I will be updating it, just not as regularly. Thank you for all your support!

✨ I'm holding my first ever open morning!

Saturday 30th May - drop in anytime between 10am - 12pm

Come along and take a look at the range of products I've been working on recently. From small furniture items, to my unique cutting boards and other homeware items.

Perfect timing for Father's Day gifts or if you enjoy hosting garden parties through the summer.

It would mean a lot to me if you'd come along and have a browse.

The pop-in event will be held at my mum's workplace (a garden cabin at the centre of Hoyland).

Come along to see my range of handmade woodworking items for sale, including chopping boards and other unique pieces — perfect for Father’s Day gifts or upcoming summer garden parties. 🌿☀️

📍 Held at my mum’s workplace in the garden cabin on West Street, Hoyland.

There will also be special offer prices available on the day!
