This one came up lovely and I’m glad because this was for a really nice couple. Back next Friday for some extra work 😵‍💫👍

Befores and afters of this sweeping calico cobble path installed a week ago in Swaithe !

Had full creative control on this one from start to finish with a very trusting customer who let me design a new hardscaping feature for her garden 🪴

The brief: a rustic focal point/feature to compliment the modern porcelain and composite decking. It was an awkward space, longer than it is wide and all the elements of the garden felt disjointed

So we are all happy with how this one turned out! Not only does the cobble path lead you through the garden it links up all the elements and levels perfectly and opens you up to the huge lawn.

The pallet we used is in keeping with the surroundings using coffee colours browns, yellows, oranges and complements the gorgeous stone house and existing patio.

Back to enhancement seal this in a few weeks to bring out the colours and lock them in rain or shine 👍

Been busy this past week at another gorgeous property in Swaithe. Bit of a rough finish to this one the borders were all staggered and some broken tiles.

We cut a 120 mm border all the way around to give it a crisp finish.

Then added the mixed brown Indian stone cobbles from Royale Stones to give it that rustic feel it deserves.

The details mattered on this one and well happy with how it turned out

Will be adding a buff jointing compound to tie the border in further - back here next week to start something amazing 🤩

Another patio smashed out last week! This time a cheeky little Raj Green 15m2 and also making use of the old flags taken up to put a 8ft x 7ft shed base in (no photos)

Customer wanted to drop the level of the old patio by about 6” so this was a full dig out and removal of the old sub base. Dropping the level and then re adding a fresh base of hardcore to go again but this time, the fall was changed towards the house, to the adjusted level so we installed channel drains away from the brick work to catch the water and direct it straight into the waste water catch drain 👌🏻

Gear, stone & jointing compound all from Allendale Building Supplies used the copper fine finish brush in from talasey on this and compacted well, it really made it pop!

Sealing this beauty today - love going back and seeing our work once the plants are thriving and it’s all settled in. 🪴

Adding a natural enhancing (Matt finish) Indian sandstone seal to this one to help extend the life make it prettier and make it easier to maintain ☀️

Befores and afters of this 8m2 front courtyard.

⭐️ Nero slate porcelain + chamfered charcoal step & border, air brick continued through the step - finished with storm grey jointing. Picked up some new jobs while here - may need to move house at this rate!!
