The 3 year project 😮

And the reason it took 3 years is because it’s my house🤣

As all people in the construction industry know there own projects come last even after many reminders from there better half.

Completed 18 months ago and we love every minute of been able to use this space and our stunning garden room.

Just sat looking though previous projects and thought I’d share some of our builds from when we first started building garden rooms. We’ve done them from Scotland to Cornwall and always loved these kind of projects and still love doing them today. If anyone’s looking for a low cost or high end bespoke garden room don’t hesitate to get in touch 😌

Here’s a drive project we completed a few months back

* Excavated the area to remove original “drive”✅

* Set sleepers into the ground up right 800mm deep and filled with concrete to act as strengthening for the retaining wall ✅

* Built a retaining wall out of sleepers fixed with 180mm fixing to Assure there’s no movement✅

* Treated inside of the sleepers with bitumen then covered with edpm membrane to assure longevity✅

* Steps inset with Indian stone paving ✅

* 10 tone of recycled hardcore laid and compacted every 100mm✅

* 4 tone of recycled road plannings levelled and compacted as a temporary finish until the final finish is decided on✅
