A freshen up of a blank canvas! Pleached hedge for screening of neighbours, a few lovely feature trees, and plenty of barring of light coloured flowering plants.
We excavated 40tons of flintly clay and subsoil, replacing with 40 tons of good soil and soil improver. Added a steel edging and an irrigation system for easy watering.

A terraced house with limited access and levels falling towards the house 🤔

Solution… We built a planter to take all the soil, repurposed all the old slabs and bricks into a patio foundation so we only took away around half a ton of the existing garden, keeping it easier for us and cost effective for the customer.
Also splitting into two levels meant we can fall everything away from the house and installed a channel drain for good measure.

As we approach the Christmas holidays for the team tomorrow.. here’s a few snaps of the final paving install of the year!
La Moda porcelain paving, with paths, recessed drain, level changes and a circle detail.
A sturdy effort from the team to get this wrapped up in short and wet days before the Xmas break.

How it started and how it finished!
Recent clearance of 220 tons of soil and stone through a 90cm garden gate.
We then landscaped the terraces with 120 oak sleepers and each post 80cm in the ground using approximately 4 ton of concrete. We installed hidden French drains behind the higher sleepers and plenty of shingle.
Finished off with new paving, lovely water feature and extra drainage on the lower terrace as well as feature steps all the way up.
Very hard work from the team on this one and everything went according to plan… mostly the weather!!

Here’s a little snapshot of some of the ponds and water features we have created over last year or two.
Running water always brings a sense of cool and calm to a space, as well as the wildlife aspect which we always try to encourage.

We took delivery this week of the brochure for the 2025 Pavestone range . We did this build we did last summer using their ‘Slate’ porcelain slabs.
Each slab was cut all four sides to create the radial pattern from compass points. We’re very pround to be on the cover which will be in buliders merchants and garden centres across the u.k this year!

We do all aspects of landscaping from small tidy ups to full design and builds.
