Did you know I also supply and fit tv wall brackets and can offer a range of power and cable management options? Well I do, including mounting the TV and helping setup smart tv's where needed.

Recent cooker install, heat proof cable of a suitable size used and secured with cable clamps. The stripped cables were crimped with Ferrules to give a more solid conductor for tightening the screws onto, Ferrules also mean there are no stray strands poking out where they shouldn't be. The cable was also cut to a suitable length so that the cooker could be pulled out easily but without lots of spare cable bunched behind when pushed into place.

The cables in the first picture were from an old outside light, they are permanently live and located right beside the main gas line going into the house. Wrapping terminal blocks in electrical tape is NOT an appropriate way to isolate cables long term. The cables have now been secured inside a suitable IP rated box and sealed to prevent water ingress, far safer and looks soooo much better as well.

This customer got in touch as the first time she turned her oven on in her brand new kitchen it stopped working within a few seconds. This was fitted by the kitchen fitter who assured her he could do it no bother. I will applaud him on his cable selection but that's it, the rest is absolutely shocking. Kitchen fitters work on the left, mine on the right. Yes, I'd expect an electrician to do it better but that's my point.

This customer got in touch after having continuous issues with damp in the bathroom. After a chat and some advice the customer decided to go for an inline ceiling fan with an over run timer which will keep the fan going for 20 mins after it's switched off. These fans move an impressive 245m3/hr of air compared to a wall fan which moves 76m3/hr.

Power to a summer house today, new circuit from consumer unit on far side of house. Three internal sockets for summer and an outside socket for the hottub. All cables clipped round outside of SH to keep inside looking clean and tidy, all entry holes drilled to size of cable and sealed with silicone to prevent any water ingress.

The last few weeks have been crazy and I never remember to take pictures but here's a little one from this morning. Customer said socket hadn't been working for a while after working for years. The cable needed stripping right back to remove burnt swction and heat damage then reterminating correctly. This is exactly what I mean when I say just because it works doesn't mean it's done right. Is your "cheap" tradesman qualified, competent and insured? I know I am.

It was recently brought to my attention that as a professional electrician I should be ashamed of my front door light. Apparently having lived here for 14 months I really should have sorted it. Living proof that men don't need to be "reminded" every 6 months to do somethingπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
