In September the wasp life cycle changes. When the Queen has stopped laying her eggs, the worker wasps are then “ laid off” and they normally scavenge into our homes when they become hungry and out of options, these worker wasps then go rogue. They hunt for sweet things like sodas, trash bins, rotting fruit, and outdoor meals, which puts them into constant, close contact with humans. Some fermenting fruits can even make them a bit tipsy and erratic and can just decide to have “ fisti cuffs with us”
