Another day, another kitchen... 😍

And another beauty, we hope you'll agree! Scroll through the before and after pictures!

This time we took out walls to create a fantastic open plan design, installing new units and appliances, light fixtures and fittings. We also tidied up the utility area, creating better use of the space and allowing the kitchen to be a kitchen!

New flooring was laid in the entrance hall, right through to the kitchen and dining area, for a seamless feel to the space.

The old fireplace was removed to make way for something a little more modern and efficient!

Finally, full redecoration throughout gives the space a modern, yet comfortable and stylish feel.

Another home refurbishment we are extremely proud of!

Full redec to clients colour scheme, including re-spray of tired kitchen cabinets. New worktops, to include bespoke made sink and new tap. New lighting fixtures, sockets and switches.

We've done some kitchens in our time...but we all love this one!

Dedicated to the finish... with Mirka UK Ltd H&G Cotswold Building Co Ltd pride ourselves in the finish, and we've just added the fantastic Leros wall and ceiling sander to our dustless sanding setup... prep is always key, and Mirka makes it flawless ❤️🔥🔥

Small hall stairs and landing that required large attention! So H&G were there to sort! After assessing the initial brief (just decorate it), it quickly became clear there was far more required to provide the best possible finish, and the peace of mind for the client that it was a sound repair. Plaster and lining paper was removed, bonded and boarded where needed and new finish plaster applied. Then a full redec to give the finish we're known for... 🔥🔥👍

We were asked to change the roof on this extension, in this lovely cottage in West Oxfordshire. The client was tired of the flat roof and wanted a tiled pitch, to match in with the main roof. The key was to make it look like it had always been a part of the cottage, not some recent add on. We are reliably informed we did a good job 😉🔥🔥 it's great doing these projects, and when the client is over the moon it's even better!!

Bit of TLC to the lovely glazed hallway in West Oxfordshire... the timber frame had become sun bleached and showing signs of age and the odd water stain. Fully sanded back, repaired, sealed and oiled using Osmo oil...

Small (😳) cedar cladding job on this lovely house in West Oxfordshire. Replaced a few casements on the windows, where rotten, a whole new window in one bedroom, to give two openers, and new black aluminium guttering all round. Then painted the windows in Farrow & Ball Old White No.4. It's really made a feature of an otherwise bare facade 😍👌🔥🔥

We were tasked with stripping the tired and weather damaged cladding on this annexe, to give it a new lease of life! 👌🔥

Our clients wanted a small porch to cover the side entrance to the house, to allow the removal of muddy boots or jackets, without standing in the rain. But the brief was to match it in closely to the existing front porch, and to have it fully in keeping with the surrounding properties. That's where H&G came in.. frame cut and assembled in our workshop, where it was preserve treated and given a first coat of stain, then transported and fitted, tiled and painted on site. Finally electrics were brought through and a downlight installed...
