Poor Pipework? We Put It Right.

Another job completed by Burke Environmental Services in Portstewart.

The existing pipework had been poorly installed with inadequate falls, affecting the drainage system and creating the potential for ongoing problems.

Our team removed the problematic pipework and installed a new system with the correct falls to ensure effective drainage and long-term performance.

And the finishing touch? All paving was carefully reinstated, leaving the property looking as though we had never been there.

New Treatment System Installation in Cullybackey

Burke Environmental recently completed a new wastewater treatment system installation at a large property in Cullybackey.

The existing system was a combined storm and foul drainage system, meaning rainwater from the property was entering the septic tank along with the foul waste. This can cause significant problems, including hydraulic overloading, raw sewage being pushed through the system and the soakaway becoming blocked or failing.

Our team designed and installed a completely new stormwater drainage line, collecting water from the property’s storm drains and downpipes and diverting it away from the foul system. We then installed a Tricel Vitae wastewater treatment plant, providing a modern and effective solution with treated effluent suitable for discharge to the nearby watercourse.

As part of the project, Burke Environmental also managed the Consent to Discharge process, helping ensure the new system could be installed and operated correctly.
