We’re Hiring: Buyer 🏠

SC Developments is looking for a Buyer to join the team and support the smooth delivery of our projects across Northern Ireland. 🏗️

This role will involve sourcing and procuring materials, subcontractor packages, managing supplier relationships, obtaining competitive prices, and ensuring materials are available on time and in line with programme requirements. We’re looking for someone organised, commercially aware, and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment.

✔ Experience in a buying or procurement role preferred
✔ Strong negotiation and communication skills
✔ Good knowledge of construction materials and suppliers
✔ Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience

- Ensuring bookings are done in a professional and organised manner
- Being the first point of contact with potential clients
- Supporting co-workers in the office when necessary

Almost 12 months have passed since we lost our great friend, Leighton “Simo”. To honour his memory, we're bringing everyone together for a day filled with everything he loved. Great people, great golf, great music, and great memories.

❤️ Nearly 12 months have gone by since we lost our incredible friend, Leighton “Simo”.

We want to honour his memory by raising funds for Chest Heart & Stroke NI, a charity very close to our hearts. Alongside our Charity Golf Day and evening event, we have launched a GoFundMe fundraiser, with all donations going towards supporting the amazing work they do.

Project Update | Home extension 🏠

Making progress on one of our home extension projects. ✨

Here's where we are with it:

✔ Bricklaying almost complete
✔ Roof structure completed, ready for tiling the roof
✔ Knock-through formed from the extension into the existing house
✔ Suspending ceiling installed
✔ First - fix plumbing and electrics ongoing
🔜 Next stage will be window and door installations, with plastering also to follow
