Another Autumn/Winter of work just kicking off at Mar Lodge ❄️✨ – back again at this incredible National Trust property, and every year there’s something new to tackle.

This year I’m diving into:
🛠 The 4th kitchen & 5th bathroom.
🪑 A 2nd bespoke bay window seat, this time for the billiards room.
🪟 Custom wooden windows.
🚪 Bespoke fire doors and lots of other renovation work.

It’s great spending time here and leaving a little bit behind each year.

Some garden storage built by myself. Clad in rough sawn larch and topped with a natural slate roof and cast iron effect gutters. The larch was treated onsite with an ageing accelerator and wax, which speeds up the natural weathering process and enhances the overall appearance. As this was built some time ago it will be a lovely silver/grey by now, helping it to blend in with the other work at this property seamlessly.

Installed to provide extra storage in a tight space with the ugly boiler now hidden out of sight too. Equipped with new oak flooring plus skirting boards and architraves. Supplied fully painted in a durable furniture grade paint to ensure the cabinets will look their best for years to come.

This Nobilia kitchen fitted recently for one of my regular customers is definitely one of my favourites.
It is a true handless design with matt black rails, textured grey slate doors with oak worktops and cladding and grey glass splashbacks.
A Blanco sink and integrated Bosch appliances including a dishwasher, double ovens, induction hob, microwave and a wifi coffee machine really finish it off.
New oak flooring and skirting boards were also fitted to match the rest of the property.
