Feeney’s Tree Services As a former Royal Marine, professionalism was ingrained. Feeney’s Tree Services carries that ethos. Full Public Liability Indemnity Insurance, available to view.

After leaving the Royal Marines in 2018, I returned to Norfolk where I was born and raised where a new adventure and challenge awaited. Craving physical and mental challenges, along with the love of the great outdoors, Arboriculture was the perfect career transition. In between Regimental duties, my spare time consisted of gaining the qualifications both theoretical and practical needed to start this journey. In 2017 I gained my ABC Level 2 qualification in Arboriculture, increasing my knowledge from soil quality, all the way to Aerial Tree pruning techniques and procedures. Concurrently whilst completing my theory, I began to undertake all the necessary practical training and assessments recognised within the industry, and within a space of 6 months gained my City and Guilds CS30,CS31,CS32,CS38, and CS39 qualifications, showing the competency of being able to safely conduct myself, both on the ground as well as an Arborist up in the tree canopy. Upon leaving the military I was very fortunate to find myself sub contracting as a climber within a very professional and highly respected local company, this opportunity allowed me to progress the skill set I learnt and to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible from the company's expertise. I established Feeney's Tree Services in 2021, with my goal to deliver an enthusiastic, professional and friendly service to clients past, present and future.

Well that could have gone better!!

Tuesday morning, we found ourselves involved in a collision instigated by another road user.

With them failing to stop, they smashed into the back of the chipper, which then acted as a battering ram into the back of the Ranger…. End result both our chipper and Ranger have been written off!!

However, we were fortunate enough to carry on working with arrangements with the estate we were scheduled to work at. So that was something to be grateful for.

Now a matter of dealing with the formalities, we will hopefully be back to full strength soon.

Please be patient with me if I’m slow replying as the grey matter is a little full.

Another week in the tree world wrapped up, with heaps completed varying in size and approach.

I myself broke away for a couple of days to celebrate some very close friends wedding which was awesome and a further congratulations to them too.

Fortunately, in my absence the guys got their heads down and cracked on keeping things ticking over nicely. Well done lads 👍.

We carried out some pretty landscape changing tree work for BB installations Nfkltd the tail end of last week on their newest developmental project. A fantastic company to work for with a great reputation to back this up.

After celebrating the up coming wedding of some close friends on an amazing stag do abroad we jumped straight back into it from Wednesday onwards.

These heatwaves are no joke, and anybody who works out in this heat for a full day in full PPE whatever that may be should be recognised.

It takes a different level of discipline and determination to keep cracking on when all you want to do is sit in the shade with endless cold drinks and someone jetting you off with a hose.

The guys continue to go above and beyond and just keep sticking with it. I’m very blessed.

May ✅

May has been another busy month for us, with heaps of variety.

During this period, we are always extra vigilant with nesting birds as conservation is a matter of priority.

Consistent inspections and observations of patterns from nearby birds being taken into account, with a few jobs postponed to a later date with the findings of feathery occupants.

The team have pulled some heavy graft in some hot and unseasonable conditions, continuously pulling out the stops and getting those targets smashed.

Thank you to all involved and thank you too all that use our services.

We have had a fantastic April, which has been full of non stop action, reductions, dismantles, firewood, stump grinding!! The works.

Everyone involved has been really cracking on and consistently delivered, with no hesitation. Thank you guys 🤘🏻

Thankfully we are starting to feel a little sun on the backs of our necks, which makes things just that little bit better. Also helps blinker the madness unfolding around the globe and keeps us as best as possible in a positive space!

Bring on May! 💪🏻

With the world becoming more turbulent and uncertain as each day passes, we have found ourselves fortunate and very thankful we are still wanted in high demand and have been carrying out a lot of work recently up and down the county.

From large dismantles to sympathetic reductions, hedge cutting any everything in between!

As always thank you to the team for turning out and consistently putting in that grind!

Another week completed, with a broad variety of work carried out. Starting to feel like I need to build an ark though. When will we get some dry steady weather!
