Our Website has been down due to a new look but we are now back up and running. Still a working process but happy

“Do you do scaffolding?” 🙄😂

That was the question from a new facilities company customer after we supplied them with dehumidifiers for a job in London.

Of course we do! At The Hiring Desk, we go the extra mile to get our customers what they need. 💪

Today marked a milestone: I am proud our first scaffolding job was erected in Leicester! This is the first of two projects for this customer, with the second starting in Birmingham on 19th October. 🏗️

Taking away the endless searching, opening accounts with multiple suppliers, chasing quotes and comparing prices is exactly what sets us apart.

One call. One point of contact. Everything organised.

From plant and tools to access, scaffolding, welfare and more, let us take care of the sourcing so you can get on with the job.

For all your construction needs, give me a call at The Hiring Desk:

🚨 NEW EQUIPMENT. NEW CONTRACT. 🚨

At The Hiring Desk, we’re constantly investing in our fleet to give our customers the quality equipment they need to get the job done.

We’ve added 10 brand new Lowara booster pump sets, with six already heading straight out tomorrow on a 12-month hire to a utility company across three UK depots. 💪

Super excited to deliver where others couldn’t—and proud to turn a customer’s challenge into a solution.

Thank you to our customers for trusting us. Your business keeps us growing, investing and raising the standard. 🖤💛

The Hiring Desk | National Plant & Tool Hire

For months I’ve had Brightmarsh, The Majestic Theatre and these characters living in my head.

Now, little by little, it’s starting to become real.

There was once a time when this city sang.

Then something happened.

The theatres closed.
The music disappeared.
And The Majestic was left behind.

But some things don’t stay forgotten forever…

This is only the beginning.

We’re building The Sparrows completely from the ground up — script, songs, characters, cast and eventually the stage.

And rather than disappearing away and coming back when it’s finished, I want people to actually come on the journey with us while we create it.

🐦 If this has made you curious, comment below with the first thing you want to know about Brightmarsh or The Sparrows.

And if you want to follow it from script to stage, come and join The Sparrows Facebook group. I’ll put the link in the comments.

Welcome to Brightmarsh.

We’ve added a few extras to make sure the machine is even better suited to our customers’ requirements:

Really excited to get this one out on site and working.

I'm delighted to say we've welcomed 11 new customers to The Hiring Desk this month.

When I launched The Hiring Desk, the goal was simple: become a genuine procurement partner to construction, landscaping and utilities businesses—not just another hire company.

Every new customer puts their trust in us to make sourcing plant, tools, welfare, fencing, access equipment and much more easier, faster and more reliable. That trust means everything.

We're not trying to be the biggest overnight. We're focused on growing organically, building long-term relationships and delivering the kind of service that keeps customers coming back.

A huge thank you to everyone who's supported the business so far—our customers, suppliers and everyone who's recommended us. It's genuinely appreciated.

Here's to another busy month ahead! 💪

One Number. One Person. One Solution.

🎪 Events don't happen by accident. They happen through planning, logistics and having the right partners.

Whether it's a festival, sporting event, concert, corporate event or temporary site, having reliable equipment on time makes all the difference.

At The Hiring Desk, we make procurement simple by giving you one point of contact for everything you need, including:

✔️ Welfare Units
✔️ Site Toilets
✔️ Heras Fencing
✔️ Track Mats
✔️ Lighting Towers
✔️ Generators
✔️ Crowd Control Barriers
✔️ Waste Solutions
✔️ And much more...

No chasing multiple suppliers. No unnecessary hassle. Just one person managing it all from start to finish.

If you've got an event coming up and would like to see how we can support you, I'd be happy to have a conversation.
