🛁 Bathroom renovation progress in Wing, Buckinghamshire

This week we were back on the job in Wing after the sauna fitters had done their part.

Not every week runs smoothly. The isolation for the sauna had ended up in the wrong place, so the drawer unit has to wait until that is moved next week. That didn't stop us getting the rest of the units in and moving the soil stack to suit the new toilet position.

When we checked one of the walls, the old plasterboard wasn't stuck to the wall, so it came off and was redone properly.

Then onto the wall tiling, and we came up short on tiles. We sorted out some more, got them up and grouted most of the room, with just the new tiles left to grout.

The tiles the customer chose are really nice, and it's going to look fantastic once it's finished. Swipe through for this week's progress shots, and keep an eye out for the final pictures next week 👀

🚿 Bath swapped for a walk-in shower in Marsworth

This week we were asked to take out a bath and put in a walk-in shower. Simple enough in principle, until we found a 4-inch soil pipe running under the bath.

As always, we found a way round it 🔧 and got the shower tray in flush with the floor.

We also swapped the bath filler for an overhead rain shower and retiled, including a feature wall.

The customer was over the moon that we managed it, and is loving the finished bathroom. So are we.

Swipe through for the before shot and the finished shower.

We carry out bathroom work in and around Marsworth.

🛁 A hectic week on this bathroom and sauna project in Wing, Buckinghamshire

We have started on a full bathroom replacement, and alongside it the existing sauna unit had to come out so the room could be prepared for a brand new sauna going in.

The first photos show what we were working with, the old bath lifted out and the original sauna before we took it apart.

From there it was a proper push. The old floor tiles came up, the first fix plumbing and electrics went in, and then the floor was tiled and grouted. You can see the tile levelling clips going down in the later shots, and the last photo is the finished floor, cleaned up and ready.

Hard work pays off. The room is now in shape for the sauna fitters to do their bit, and we will be back in a couple of weeks to complete the bathroom ✅

We carry out full bathroom installations across Wing and the surrounding Buckinghamshire area.

Back at it after the summer holidays, and this one is a shower room going back to being a proper bathroom, over in Cheddington.

The room has been stripped out, the new bath is in and sat level, and the floor has been boarded and tiled ready for the walls to be done next 🛁

We actually remembered the progress photos this week, so you can see how it looks part way through instead of just the finished job. Wall tiling is the next stage and it will look great once it is all done.

Finished this one off this week in Cheddington: what was a shower room is now a full bathroom 🛁

We fitted a new bath with an overhead shower and glass screen, tiled a dark feature wall behind it, built a niche into the tiling for bottles, fitted a digital shower valve and finished with new cabinetry around the basin and toilet. The photos show the finished room.

Really enjoyed this one, and it has come out really well.

Been a busy few weeks with a some interesting jobs..

This one was a small bathroom that just had the wrong layout and oversized fittings. So our objective with this one was to give the room a sense of space. We decided, along with the customers, to change the layout completely and move the bath to the right hand side of the room and to incorporate the WC and basin onto the left wall with storage. Radiator was changed to a towel rail and placed under the window…
A lot of work went into this, we moved every service and waste under the floors to the correct positions…
We think we have achieved our goal with this one and the customers can’t believe how big the room looks now..
Just a couple of bits to tidy up tomorrow, then we are onto their en-suite..
